Stages of 3G Pitch Construction

The most disered is playing football on all condition 

There are 5 general stages for indoor 3G pitch construction with artificial turf floor. Infrastructure works, iron and steel works, wire mesh and file installation, artificial turf carpet installation and lighting works construction ends.

Indoor astro pitchs are constructed in accordance with the specified standards by passing through some stages. The main ones of these stages:

1. Infrastructure Works:

Application work is carried out in the area where the playfield is planned. The ground is thoroughly compressed to zero code with the help of vibrating cylinder 30 cm deep foundation is digged around the field and wooden molds are made in certain sizes. 

Although this size varies according to the measures of the field, 70×50 for the long edge and 50×50 for the short edge wooden molds are suitable.  Two distribution rods are attached to the long sides of these two-sided moulds to the bottom and top with a diameter of 12 mm, also 8 mm stirrups are attached to these distributing rods 30 cm intervals. 

For the wooden molds on the short sides, 6 pieces of 12 mm diameter distributing rods and 8 mm stirrup are used.  18 gijon and nut plates are fixed to iron reinforcement at 3 meters intervals. PVC pipes are laid into the hacking for drainage. In this way, the water coming to the ground is collected and drain outside of the pitch, then the concrete hacking is formed and compressed.

2. Steel Construction Works:

4 m high pipes are mounted on the plates placed in the perimeter hacking and 10 mm sheet metal plates are fixed on them. On the sheet plates located on the vertical pipes, the trusses made at certain sizes are mounted. 

Construction of a Football Pitch

On the trusses, 2 mm pipes with a diameter of 32 mm are fixed horizontally. In addition to these iron/steel construction works, a hinged door is made with a diameter of 3 mm a diameter of 89 mm and field masts is made with a diameter of 3 mm using a diameter of 48 mm.

Note: Measurements of pipes used in steel construction are given as examples above, which may vary in each project. For example, at least 114'3mm main column pipes are used in snowy regions. According to the static calculations, much thicker Iron material can be used.

3. Wire Mesh and Net Installation:

Sides of artificial grassfootball field is surrounded by 3 m height, 3.6 mm wall thickness, hot-dip galvanized and PVC coated wire mesh. Then, 5 mm steel rope is stretched and fixed with clamps. 

Goalposts and sides of the pitch are covered with a net made of polyamide yarn in the range of 12×12 cm, over the pitch is covered with a net made of polyamide yarn in the range of 15×15 cm.

4. Artificial Turf Application:

The felt is spread on the gravel floor by soaking. The selected synthetic turf is laid on the felt and the joints are glued with the help of special adhesives. After field markings are placed in accordance with the measurements, the ground works of astro pitch are completed by sand and granule filling.

5. Astro Pitch Construction Lighting Installation:

Projectors lights are mounted on the stair-lined pipes placed on side of the pitch for lighting. The number of projector lights varies according to the size of the pitch.
